Composition Makatussin comp
Active ingredient: Codeini phosphas hemihydricus.
excipients : Glycerol, propylene glycol (E1520) 300 mg/20 drops, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) (E420) 286 mg/20 drops, sodium chloride, licorice root extract, sodium saccharin (E954). 20 drops contain 2.6 mg sodium.

1 g (corresponds to 20 drops) contains 13.6 mg codeini phosphas hemihydricus (corresponds to 10.6 mg codeine base)

For the relief of cough and urge to cough, especially in the case of a dry, irritating cough.

Dosage/Application
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 15-20 drops 3-4 times a day (up to a maximum of 30 drops at a time). The dosing interval between two intakes should not be less than 4 hours. The drops are best taken undiluted with a spoon, but they can also be taken with a little water or tea.
