Obeclox clobenzorex 30 mg
Obeclox clobenzorex 30 mg is an anorexic medication and belongs to the amphetamine group. The active ingredient is Clobenzorex – an adrenoreceptor agonist. It is available in the form of tablets. It acts on the hypothalamus, blocks the signals of hunger, which come to the brain and thus reduces appetite.
Unlike pure amphetamine, there is no strong euphoria after taking the drug. When taken uncontrollably without a doctor’s supervision, it can cause psychological addiction. The drug is prescribed only after examination, tests, and the exclusion of chronic pathologies. Each capsule contains: clobenzorex hydrochloride 30 mg
Dosage
The recommended dosage is 1 capsule in the morning upon waking and also 1 capsule 1 hour before the midday meal. In some cases, the dosage may be increased to 3 capsules/day, including 2 in the morning upon waking and 1 capsule 1h before the midday meal. The duration of treatment is 4 to 6 weeks and should not exceed 3 months.
Clobenzorex (Asenlix, Dinintel, Finedal, Rexigen) is a stimulant drug of the amphetamine chemical class used as an appetite suppressant. The drug is legally distributed in Mexico under the trade name Asenlix by Aventis. Chemically, clobenzorex is an N-substituted amphetamine prodrug that is converted to d-amphetamine soon after ingestion. In commercial production, clobenzorex is supplied in 30 mg doses as the hydrochloride salt in green-tinted capsules. The drug gained use as a prescription anorectic in the 1970s.
Side effects
Clobenzorex can cause some side effects such as pulmonary arterial hypertension, shortness of breath, psychosis, depression, insomnia, anxiety, dizziness, headache, tachycardia, chest pain, hypertension, dry mouth, constipation, and urinary retention. In rare cases, the use of anorectics medications can led to stenocardia, stroke, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and heart failure.
